Does Steelray Project Analyzer change my project file?
In Microsoft Project, Steelray Project Analyzer uses the Marked column to perform its filtering, but this has no impact on your project schedule. Other than that, SPA won't change the project file in any way. In Primavera, a filter is added to support the filter link feature. -
Does Steelray Project Analyzer include project risk analysis, e.g. Monte Carlo simulations?
Steelray Project Analyzer does not offer a schedule risk assessment. We recommend using a tool called RiskyProject for that. -

Primavera is a database. Comparing two schedules by unique ID in Primavera will always result in each task being different. It is necessary for you to create the IDs between projects to link the tasks together. You can use UDFs to accomplish this.
